Marcus Norris Orchestrates for Andra Day’s New Album “Cassandra”

Andra Day, the soulful singer known for her Grammy-winning hits, just released her latest track “Probably”, marking her return since her last album drop in 2015. It premiered exclusively on Apple Music with Zane Lowe.

Dr. Marcus Norris, the genius behind orchestration for big names like Beyoncé and Chloe x Halle, lent his skills to this one. Dr Norris created the string arrangements that were performed  by South Side Symphony for Day’s “Probably.”

Reflecting on the song’s inspiration, Day shares, “There are three sides to every story: There’s this side, there’s this person’s side, and there’s the truth.” This layered perspective infuses the track with authenticity and depth, inviting listeners to delve into the complexities of human relationships.

Give the single a listen now available on all streaming platforms.
